The culture of giving back and philanthropy are valued tenets of the Downe House community. Through the extraordinary generosity of our donors, the Downe House Foundation has and continues to play a vital role in supporting the School and creating life-changing educational opportunities.
Donations to the Downe House Foundation help to support the development of outstanding facilities for our community, an enhanced capacity to award Bursary places and to fulfil the School’s vision for the future.
Unlike many educational institutions, Downe House does not benefit from an endowment and we are therefore reliant on the ongoing generosity of our vibrant and unique community of parents, alumnae governors and friends.
We are deeply grateful to all those who donate and continue this tradition.
Find a way to support the school that suits you, from a one-off or monthly gift, offering support where the school needs it most, to remembering us in your Will with a legacy gift, helping to secure bursaries in perpetuity. However you choose to support, you will be helping transform the lives of Downe House girls now, and in the future.
Become one of the founding members of the 1922 Club today. You can give as little as £1.92 per month (inspired by our 1922 arrival in Berkshire) or more if you are able to. Collectively, alumnae, parents and friends of the School can make a huge difference to the lives of countless young people within and beyond the School.
